" ipasscoffe bakery " (艾帕斯) sells many budget ( cheap) breads, cakes and toasts. My family bought two black cakes with white butter, only cost NT$20 each. I found it is yummy ( delicious) and fluffy. I believe its quality is not worse than french traditional cakes.
